Michael E. Donovan, 69, died Saturday evening  August 8, 2020  in the Seacoast Nursing Home in Gloucester after a brief illness.

     He was born in Danvers on  April 7, 1951.  Mike grew up in Middleton and moved to Ipswich in the 1980’s where he worked for Means Chevrolet on County Road in Ipswich.  He was a well liked figure around town who enjoyed drinking his coffee and talking about race cars.  Mike had been a resident of Agawam Village in Ipswich for several years.

     He was predeceased by his beloved mother  Nora C. Donovan  formerly of Middleton.

     A graveside service will be held  Friday  August 28th.  at  10:00 A.M.  in the Oakdale Cemetery  Maple Street, Middleton, all are welcome to attend.  Everyone is asked to wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Morris Funeral Home of Ipswich.
